The first thing to do is select one of our website themes.

Your website will be based upon this theme, however, it will be unique because it will include your logo, corporate colors, content and other customizations.

Now you have selected a theme that you believe best suits your business it is time to purchase your domain.

STEP 2: Purchasing Your Domain Name

If you already have a website and you want to use the same domain name for your new website you do not have to perform this step

Your domain is the address that people will enter into their browser to find your website. Our domain name is www.onlineassist4u.com

There are many websites where you can purchase a domain name for your business. We recommend Crazy Domains as you can purchase both “.com” and “.com.au” domains.

Some Key Hints in Purchasing Your Domain Name

• Google looks favorably on domain names that describe your key business function e.g smithmobilemechanic.com.au
• Your domain should be associated with your business – this is especially true for .com.au domains
• .com domains are freely available however .com.au domains are checked by the Australian Government to ensure the domain you are purchasing reflects your business
• Domain names are very inexpensive ranging from US$7 through US$12 per annum (.com.au domains are normally AUD$12 per annum)
• You do not actually “own” the domain you pay for rather it is “rented” to you for the period you pay for. If you do not renew the rental for the domain name when it expires that domain name will become freely available to the market once again.
• Your domain name is key to your business. Ensure that you pay for it and have control over renewals. Do not leave it to someone else !!!

STEP 3: Ordering Your Website from Onlineassist4u.com

How hard has this been so far ? Not very, eh ? Well it doesn’t get much more difficult now so stick with us and we will complete your order in a snap so our developers can get busy on your website.

You can come back and finish this later if you feel a bit overawed by now. We won’t hold it against you….

You will need the following information to complete our order form and pay for your website

• The name of the theme you selected in STEP 1
• The name of the domain you selected in STEP 2
• The username and password your domain name supplier sent you via email after you purchased your domain name – we need this to re-route your domain name to the server where we will host your new website
• A softcopy of your company’s logo
• Background information about your company we can use to build into your website
• A minimum of two colors you would like to feature on your website – (hint) they should be colors used in your logo
• suggestions for the email addresses you would like for your new website e.g. kirk@onlineassist4u.com, info@onlineassist4u.com etc
• an account with PayPal or a credit card to make your payment
